The hero section of a website is an eye catching part of the homepage that drives the user towards a conversion. They often contain a bold title and an eye catching image. The hero section, also called a jumbotron, should be the first thing a user sees on the homepage. From here the user can directly proceed to a conversion, or they can scroll down and see more content. Of course the section must also be responsive on mobile and reformat itself appropriately to a variety of screen sizes. Today I spent some time working on the hero section for the capstone project of the Meta frontend class.
